Ben Whitacre has been in the financial services industry since 2006 and is the proud owner of Whitacre Wealth Management.
Ben works closely with his team to provide the best tailored advice for each of his clients. He shares with his clients a big vision and abundance mentality, which enables him to listen to them and encourage them to strive toward achieving their unique goals.
Throughout his tenure, Ben has worked hard to expand his knowledge base in order to provide the best possible service to his clients. He has earned the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designations from The American College.
Some of Ben’s values in life and business include integrity, building strong personal relationships, a desire to help people, and dependability.
Originally from Virginia, Ben moved to Towson, MD in 1999 to attend Towson University, where he played on the football team as a kicker and served as President of the student body.
Ben currently resides in Ponte Vedra, FL with his wife Trisha, daughter Lexi, and son Drew. His family is at the top of his priority list. As a former Division 1 and professional football player, his work ethic drives him to do the best work he can for his clients and the business.
In his free time, Ben enjoys spending time with his family and friends, traveling, coaching, golfing, playing soccer and tennis, and attending sporting events.

A Baltimore native and graduate of the University of Maryland College Park, Robert H. Smith School of Business, Ken Pumphrey has assumed various roles within the financial industry for over 12 years. Starting out as a financial representative in 2007, Ken has also held roles as an Investment Operations Manager, an Advanced Planning Specialist, and is now the Director of Investment Operations for Wynn Point Financial.
Before Ken’s career as a financial professional, he spent 10 years traveling the country as a Minor League Baseball player for the New York Mets, Minnesota Twins, and Philadelphia Phillies. Ken’s team mentality and “play to win” attitude have become a part of his professional philosophy and his approach to financial planning. Ken holds his Series 6, 63, & 7 securities license.
Ken spends his time out of the office cheering on daughters Kate and Julie at their various sporting events, along with his wife Jennifer. He and his family reside in Severna Park, Maryland.

Jason Sparhawk is a Catonsville native and graduate of the Methodist University, Reeves School of Business who has served several roles within the financial industry for over 7 years. Starting out as a financial representative in 2014, Jason has also held the titles of Practice Manager, and Associate Financial Representative.
Prior to Jason’s career as a financial professional, he served as PGA Head Golf Professional at Applecross Country Club in Downingtown, PA. Jason’s commitment to customer service, open communication, and never quit attitude serve as pillars to his approach to financial planning. Jason holds his Series 6 & 63 securities license and Maryland Life & Health license.
Jason spends his time enjoying the outdoors with his dogs and continues to provide golf instruction to the local area.
